Over the past 10 years of me wearing make up (oh my gosh I suddenly feel so old), I have collected a good few amount of eye shadow palette’s. Some more in recent years as I’ve got a bit better at putting eye shadow on now, but today I’d thought i’d share with you my favourites. I’m not very adventurous when it comes to colour on the eyes, so most of these palettes are quite natural, but equally amazing and I love them.
Urban Decay – Naked 1, 2 and 3.
A good few years ago, these were definitely the palettes that everyone had or wanted. They each come with 12 amazing shades, some matte and some shimmer. I think the thing I love most about these palettes is all the colours work really well together, so once you start off with one colour on your lid, it so easy to blend in a lot of the other shades in the palette. I’d highly recommend these palettes to anyone who loves their eye makeup.
Too Faced – Natural Eyes
My boyfriend bought me this palette for Christmas last year and I honestly think this is my favourite palette of all time. I have bright blue eyes so quite a lot of natural colours around the eye make them stand out more. My favourite colours in this palette are Honey Pot and Silk Teddy, they are easy to blend and definitely make my eyes stand out. Also with this palette you get a little book which shows you the best way to blend each colour which is very helpful for someone starting off.
Maybelliene – The NUDES
This one is a cheaper alternative to the other ones I’ve talked about, but equally as good. There is a lot more darker colours in this palette which definitely stand out more. This is definitely my favourite for this time of the year. It also has a good choice of shimmer and matte shades.
Seventeen – Easy on the eye
Easy on the eye is a palette I’ve only recently picked up. I love the packaging, it has a massive mirror and it also has an eye primer included in the palette, how amazing! The colours are a lot more pinkier in this one and there are also a few metallic creams along with matte and shimmer shades. There is also a little sheet in the packaging which helps you to see which colours work best and where.
