We’re at the time of the year now where it’s really cold, my skin always goes really dry and I can never be bothered to make much of an effort to go anywhere as the weather is always crappy. My favourite thing to do when I’m feeling like this is to have a major pamper evening. Relax, eat lots of chocolate and make myself and my skin feel amazing again.
First off, I take all my make up off using my Micellar water and run a bath.
I would normally then put on a hair mask and a face mask. The hair mask is from Lush and it works wonders! The face mask is the pure clay detox mask from L’oreal. Its amazing and they have two other varieties and you can use all three together for different places in your face.
I’ll then pick a Lush bath bomb (I went with “never mind the ballistil” bath bomb), put it in my bath and get in it and just relax, washing off my hair and face masks.
Once I’m out of the bath, I dry off and put on the cosiest pjs I can find and do my skin care routine. I use the Lush toner and cleanser on my face, then either the Body Shop mango body butter or if I’m after a bit of tan I go for the Dove gradual moisturising tan.
Then once I’m done with all that, I’ll grab a cuppa and some chocolates and just snuggle up into bed and watch Netflix or YouTube.
I honestly think we need a pamper night now and again to fully relax and make ourselves feel good. Not only on the outside but the inside too. So if you’re reading this and you haven’t pampered yourself in a while, sit down and plan a night off everything so you can have your own pamper night. You’ll thank yourself in the long run.
